Studio Sessions Have Launched!

Abstract Flower Pot Session

Swish + Company has officially been open to the public for one month and WHAT a month it has been: our flower market is a hit, our amazing new product lines are finding new fans, and our studio classes have launched!

It has been such a pleasure welcoming you and your children into our new space. Of course, with COVID-19 among us, things look a little different than we planned, but we are thankful to have your energy, enthusiasm, and trust: our shop is a better place with you all in it!

Take a peek at a few of our projects and sweet students. While our initial studio classes have focused on kids, we have a great selection of studio classes and (to be announced) drop in studio sessions for kids, teenagers, adults, and all!

This month, participants created flower pots inspired by Matisse and his colourful + organic shape cutouts, garden mobiles made with natural wood and twine, and intricate popsicle stick wall hangings inspired by weaving traditions from around the world.

Thank you for your support and for lettings us welcome you into our new studio!

To the participants- you rock!! We can’t wait to see you again.

Hi there, I’m Justine!

I’m so excited to take on the challenge of creating our studio sessions at Swish + Company. My aim is to provide a selection of experiences that appeal to a range of talents, interests, and ages. Trained as an Elementary School teacher with a B Ed. and Bachelor of Arts (with a specialization in English and Art & Design) to my credit, I have three years experience as a classroom teacher. I love teaching! I’ve worked with Sheryl since High School and I love SWISH Flowers with all my heart- we are so fortunate to have this new opportunity within SWISH to share our passions and expertise with you.

I take seriously the experience you and your children have when you join us at Swish + Company and it is my goal to make our shop a community hub where you visit for, not only a perfect gift or fresh flowers, but for a nurturing, feel-good experience.

Keep in the loop about what’s coming up by checking the Events section of our website often! As we navigate COVID-19, studio sessions and certain events are limited (both in capacity and frequency) for now, but we aim to provide quality experiences for you as safely and as often as we can.

See you in the studio!

- Justine
